I have just been given a ton of corals and fish, A friend who's tank gave out on her quit working and she gave up so gave away everything she owned.
I stocked my tank ofc and I've never owned corals but could not see these corals die.
they look great and did well with the transition. My question is What in the world do i have and do they need to be fed? plz be kind as im doing all the research possible.

Those are all photosynthetic corals. While they will benefit from regular feedings, they do not NEED anything other then plenty of light.

What you have there are frogspawn (euphyllia), mushrooms, button polyps (palythoa), and xenia.

The frogspawn looks rather nice. I'd consider trading the palythoa and xenia to a local fish store.

thanks for the info i tried to find what i had and assumed I had frogspawn and mushrooms lol. the other i had no idea

You're welcome, the frogspawn could also be a hybrid frogspawn/hammer. Looks like one I have. Pretty darn cool.

You want to try and keep your water parameters stable. 8.0dkh, 420cal, 1260+mag, nitrates below 5-10, and phosphate around .03ppm and lower. And as the poster before said plenty of light.

THere's a sticky up there entitled SETTING UP which will give you a lot of info.

The euphyllias (frog/hammer) require calcium supplementation.

there looks like there may be 2 aipstasia to the right of that xenia. If so you will want to get rid of those.
