needlewheel

A while back I heard they were going to make a dart needlewheel. That's why SPAZZ was working with same pump doing the same thing. But then I heard that they abandoned the idea. I wonder if SPAZZ is building the impellars and shrouds for them?

It took them a while to refine it.

the original ones that Sequence and Spazz were working on kept burning out with the AO Smith motors. It looks like Spazz gave up on the AOs as the last few Volcano skimmers I've seen are running the finned motors from the 1000 series Sequences.

I think they just took the time to do it right.

Should make a cool huge skimmer!

i have not heard weather the ao ****h motors are holding up with the new needle wheels or not. i special ordered my needle wheels with the baldor motors on them. they costalot more but i know i wont have problems with them.
i didnt not have any hand in what sequence did for the design of there needle wheel. they hired an independant person to engineer there needle wheel for them.

yes bill has burnt up a couple of the ao smith pumps on his skimmer. he built his own needle wheels for his skimmer. he is in the process of getting 2 new pumps with the baldor motors on them so they will handle the load of the bigger wheels and not burn out.
