Has any one had any luck recently with elegance corals if so let me know what ur running for lights and the placement of them havent tried one since my last one that died from my clowns thinking they could live in it.
Now days it is very VERY rare for elegance corals to live longer than 6 months to a year, most die in a very short time frame. Look in eric's forum, I think he is doing a study on why. Untill the problems are found and fixed, dont try one again.
It is not worth it. I went against everyones advice and bought one. It lasted 3-4 weeks. Everything else in my tank (Clams, Fish, LPS, SPS, Softies, etc) are doing great. Noone has been able to explain why they die so easily.
well i have a 1 inch sand bed but its coverd by a 1 inch bed of coral life gravel i believe "the small little balls" doesnt seem to be ruff or sharp edges. But how about placement I have a 24G aqua pod putting on a 150W 14k Hqi is that good enough.
