nem eating fish

Is it possible for them to eat fish? This morning I found my 3" kole tang head first in the nem's mouth. :sad2:

Yes it is very possible.But Bubble Tip dont have a "very" strong sting.but they can sting enought to hurt/kill a fish.How big is the anemone?

my tang will eat anything!

I woke up this morning i noticed that the tang was head first in the nem and crabs were all over. The night before the tang was happy and eating fine. The nem is about 2 inches across.

It wouldn't be the firs time something unrelated happened to a tang, and the bubble tip (and crabs) capitalized on the situation....

The Tang must have died for other reasons. I can't see a 2" BTA capturing and eating a 3" tang.

I just find it funny that the bta had it in its mouth and it had nothing to do with it.

Just like elegance coral said there is no way a 2 inch Bubble Tip can eat a 3 inch tang.Fish may have had a delayed death.
