Nem for me?

Can you recommend an anemone for a pair of ocellaris clowns in a 55 gallon tank that will do OK with T5 lighting?
Keep in mind the tank is not that big, so a huge nem is out of the question.
I am using T5's as I mentioned, but it is a 6 bulb fixture, so it is a lot of light for fairly shallow tank.

Stay away from carpet anenomes as they WILL eat other fish. No other experience with other types. I just know I have lost like four fish to a capet anenome

uhh hodanni capets are alriight they can eat fish but they most likely wont. Ive had one with madrians blennys everything. but with a 55 best bet is probably a bubble tip anemone

Well I think you could do about 2 or 3 diffirent species of anemones. If you want to stay on the smaller side of thing I would do a Rose Bubble Tip or just any Bubble Tip Anemone. If you want to go on the larger side of thing go with a Long Tentecal Anemone or Sebae Anemone. Also you can control how fast the anemone grows by how much you feed and how often you feed.

That they can but normally when we have them in our tanks they tend to split and which always take a bit away from the size. But Im not saying they can grow that big in your tank!;)

Well, I opted to go for a BTA since they are generally the cheapest and easiest to care for from what I've seen.
12 hours in the tank and the clowns haven't shown any interest in it. :(

12 hours isn't very long. It could take minutes, days, weeks, months....

Woohooo.
So far the female is hosting, not letting the little guy in much yet though.
