About a year ago i had to break my system down due to humidity problems in the house about 2 months ago i set it up again.
I have a 260g mix reef, well ... Not right know, cuase i haven't put any corals yet. It will be sps and lps.
This is the perfect time to bring a nem and my lfs store just got Condylactis gigantea and crispas, which one would be the perfect choice for a pair of acellaris ?

Thanks guys !!

Clownfish hosting anemones, depends on species, are more difficult to much more difficult to keep then most corals, LPS and SPS. Condylactis does not fall into this group but they do not host clownfish. I would advice against getting a clownfish hosting anemone until after the tank gets establish and stable. Often this take a minimum of 6 months in tank that use newly import LR.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Thank you Orion for your input, will wait till the tank matures some more. Thanks.

Anyhow ... Wich would be the perfect anemone not only for a pair of ocellaris, but for me. Being the tank only sps and lps i'm really worried the nem would walk all over the tank in a killing frenzy.
Wich nem would you recomend that hosts ocellaris and relatively stays put

Listen to Orion. He is the master of nems! Check out some of his other posts. One of only a few people on the planet to have had success with some of the species!!!!

Anemones that host clownfish are not easy. They are difficult to very difficult to keep. Clowns do not require an anemone to do well in aquarium. There are only three species of anemones that host Ocellaris in the wild, H. magnifica (Magnifica), S. gigantea (Gigantea carpet) and S. mertensii (Merten carpet). Of these three Magnifica and Gigantea are very difficult to keep and not easy to obtain healthy. Merten carpet are very rare in the trade and can get huge. Non natural hosts are hit and miss. There is no guaranty that they will host your Ocellaris.

My approach to keeping anemones is to make the anemone the primary animal, then choose the species of clowns that will naturally use it as host. If you want to keep anemone, you must know enough about the requirement of this animal to set up an aquarium for it. Look at the Anemone FAQ at the begin of this section. It will give you a lot of information about the clownfish hosting anemones.
