RAIDER NATION!
My long tentacle has moved since installing a wavemaker. It was in a prime par location, smack dab in the middle of the tank ,soaking up rays and getting its color back. Now it's hugging the back wall in a low light location. I know its the flow because the night I changed flow for better overall utilization of my powerheads, it moved. I don't want to change my powerheads back because I like the current arrangement. What should I do? *DRAE*

dude, I would just see hoe it goes, anemone 's like to change due to their pickyness. of flow, and lighting. just keep an eye out. I am on a constant of my galaxy and my other reef corals. I have seen its sweeper's as long as 4 in from its base , lol.
but all in all man we are just looking out for our tank. I am in the process of about to add a BTA to my reef, but I am also worried about movement, so I have rescaped, and re direceted flow for the new addition . but that is just a lot of hopes..lol we will see. bta will be in within about a month. still waiting for tank to get completely ready. my reef is almost 5 .5 months. I don't wanna rush things , cause I have been down that road before. but at least this time. my nano reef has been helped by getting started by my neighbors 4 year old reef tanks water. lol. but even at that I am still not wanting t rush things!

Thanks for the reply and tank props. Just being cautious because I bought it bleached and its been doing so well. I'd hate to see a recession in progress.

LTAs (( M. doreensis )) are not fans of high/direct flow, and that is the reason that yours moved. You have to decide which you prefer, the anemone or the position of your powerheads.
