Long story short, got a RBTA, Condy that want to share the same spot. Untill now I was able to move the RBTA, 3 times now (due to being on a different rock right next to the other).

Now the RBTA found his way back to the same rock 1/2 the condy foot is on. Cant really move rocks this time. Just leave them go and see if 1 moves or will 1 eventually kill the other?? Or try to get the condy off the rock and move him?

Try redirecting water flow or re arrange some rock work. You cant tell him where to go he tells you.

Well I have re-arranged the rock work now 3 times in the corner they both want to be.. the RBTA is actually in a cave (rock he is on is the outside support for the cave). I though with no light on him he would move?

Ill try to get a picture

Again, it will go where it wants to. It has to find it's version of a "happy spot". You may have/probably stressed it out enough that it's just hiding.

Don't move it. It will move when it's ready or if you haven't ticked it off enough to kill it.

Mine even "fell on its head" and I let it be. Just to show the many stages mine went through.

It moved on it's own and grabbed that rock right behind it.

It started up here, which is where I put it

Moved down here right under that rock it was sitting on and looked dangly

Then I can't tell if it's just moving or trying to split

Right after that is when it fell on it's head.

Now it's right here and the clowns have found it.

Oh and I zip tied filter floss on my seio while it was roaming about just to be on the safe side. I have Vortech's that should be coming back any day now. I'll put those in with their foam covers.

Leaving the anemone alone until it finds a good spot is usually what I advise. However, as long as that condy is in your tank, the chances are that the BTA will never settle and will continue to seek out the condy until one has killed the other and maybe itself in the process.

I would lose the condy or the BTA.

My thoughts exactly. I have never had good luck mixing different species of anemones.

ok.. so how do I go by removing the condy? His foot is on 2 different rocks, the one rock the BTA is on.

Avoid the condylactis if you're going to have other inhabitants that are considered "hosters" they generally just cause a headache later. I know they can be appealing because of their price though, just try and avoid the urge. Beautiful RBTA by the way, clown too.

How long does the powerhead trick take to get the condy to move? I have a power head 6" point right at him.. that the right distance?

Well.. good news got both on 1 rock now (instead of the condy on 2). Actually able to move the rock 1/8" away from the other.. waited about 1 hr.. did it again, and the condy moved himself to the one rock.

So now I moved the one rock to the center of the tank, see which one leaves the rock:

the condy is about 1/2 shrunk down... the RBTA is about 80% shrunk!

Finally!

Finally!

Today I finaly removed the condy nem from my tank.. Didnt like the way I had to do it but it worked.

Talked to a dealer (who is a diver), said to hang the nems upside down from the rock out of the water, in about 5 - 10 minutes they should let go. This is how he says they do it when they pull them from the sea.

Sooo... condy nem fell off in 5 minutes.. put the rock with the RBTA back in the tank. After 4 hours the RBTA is fully extended after the trama... never been this extended since I have had him. :spin1::spin1: Condy back to the LFS for a bag of cheato!!
