was up guys ok whats the ideal temp to have an anemone and also whats the ideal SG for them as well. right now my temp is at 80 and SG at 1.022 and they are bleaching a little bit,also my ammonia is 0 nitrite 0 ph 8.3 and my nitrates are around 40

I would get the nitrates down NOW.Do a water change of 0f 25% and see what that brings it down to.

The nitrates are a good indicater that water quality needs some attention.
I personally try to keep my tanks around 78.
SG should go up in my opinion. I keep mine at 1.025 or 1.026. What lighting do you have on the system?

My gig seems to like 1.026 and 79. I can't seem to get my PH to 8.3, which I think everything prefers, but it seems to do well at 8.0-8.2 anyway.

i keep my salinity down on the lowish side at 1.022 and my bta looks healthier and bigger than when i bought it a month or so ago. My nitrates though are always at 0. Id look to try and lower those as my tank is always in the 78° to 81° range like yours.

just did a 30gallon water change and can u believe my nitrates went up a bit instead of down and yes i tested the new water it had a 0 nitrate reading cleaned a little sand rinsed sponges i guess im gonna have to get drastic and do a 60 to 75 gallon waterchange if necessary

Wait to test your water for atleast 2-3 hours min. Then you can get a more accurate testing.
