Many, many years ago (like 30) there was a product on the market that consisted of liquid vitamins designed to be fed to anemones in drops on their food. I recollect Sea Chem was the manufacturer. I contacted them last year, but the product is no longer made.
Way back then I had a Blue Carpet. It seemed to literally double in size once a week when I fed it a 1/2" cube of supermarket shrimp with a drop or so of that vitamin mix on it.
Is anyone using vitamins today on the food they feed to their anemones? If so, which vitamins work for you?
I tried some Poly-Vi-Sol baby vitamins on shrimp earlier this year, but I think I actually managed to kill a Miniatus Grouper with a feeding of the vitamin laced food. So, I'm just a bit gun shy on trying it on my anemones...
