Neon Dottyback in QT

So...I setup a 20 gallon long with an AC70 that has two bags of biomax that were in my sump for a month and a small koralia for some extra flow and agitation.
Two weeks ago put a Neon Dottyback in and put in the first dose of Prazi. Week later did the second dose. Has been eating VERY well. Go downstairs to feed today and it is laying at the bottom of the tank, still alive but not moving around like it has been. :(

Ammonia is 0, Nitrite 0 and Nitrate about 10. Just seemed so healthy. Not sure what it could have been. Just one of those things?

Well…went down to do another water change and try another dose of Prazi but the Dotty was dead. I guess I should feel good that at least it happened in the QT. It did have a string of white 'poop'. Parasite maybe?

It is the second we have lost. The first was in my DT after adding a Bangi that got sick and died. Swore I would not add any more fish until I had a QT setup. And then this happens.

Still the qt tank is best
I would much rather loss a fish in the qt then bring something into my dt. Plus it gives the fish a chance to settle down before adding it to the dt

So from what I experienced does it just seem it did most likely had a parasite and just finally gave up? Just weird that for 2 weeks he was so extremely healthy appearing and appetite wise.
