Several weeks ago I noticed that both my neon gobies (they're pretty small) had developed whitish flaking/spots. It showed up on both the very same morning. I captured them (no easy task) and QT'd them for 3 1/2 weeks treating them for what I thought was ick (I treated with 'Copper Power'). The whitish whatever-it-is vanished within 24hrs but I kept them in QT for the whole time. They've been back in the DT and back to their normal routine for about 4 days and this morning the problem is back. I've seen no evidence of anything on any of their tankmates the whole time. It's clearly not ick. Does anyone have a clue what it is and what I can do about it? I'll tell you, the prospect of trying to catch them again is not appealing. I'm quite sure they learned from their last experience.
