Neon goby and Deresa clam

I bought one Neon goby last week. I really love this little cute guy. However, it kept bothering my clam. It had been three days in the rows. Then I had to give him away, because I didn't want him to stress out my clam.

Now I'm thinking to give it a second try. I don't know if all Neon gobies will do that, or I just got the one doing that. Is there any difference between blue and yellow neon gobies? Which one is less aggressive over clams?

Thank all.

I've seen the neon gobies (and a number of other ground-dwelling gobies) do that, the clam gets used to having a visitor.

First the clam didn't mind the neon lying on it. However, the neon started to snip on it... looking like it try to clean the clam. That irritated the clam.

I really love to give neon goby a second try, because my yellow tank seems to be happier with that little guy in the tank.

I had the same problem with my Neon Goby. It would sit on the clam and every so often it would nip the mantle so it started to stay closed. The Neon had to go.
