neon goby missing

i have added 2 neon goby into my tank , it have been 3 days and i cannot find it .

it may be hiding but if the top is open at all check to see if they went carpet surfing

Check in the overflow(s) and sump. They are little guys that are aggressive feeders and will chase food into the overflow no problem

checked on the over flow and the little fellow is not there

I used to breed them (Elacatinus oceanops) at an aquaculture facility I worked at - there was a pair in a 15 gallon tank with only one small rock in it, and a couple small PVC tubes stuck in the sand. They would go "missing" for days at a time, not to be seen at all, even when searched high and low for, only to re-appear in the next week or so.

They're amazing little hiders
