Neon green stain on silicone?

I have had a neon green looking stain on the silicone on all four corners of my tank almost since ive started it about 2 months ago. The tank is a 75 gl All-Glass . Ive never used and chemicals or anything in the tank it showed up during my cycling process and i cannot remove it. Ive tryed using my fingernail and a wash cloth. In two corners its about halfway down in one corner about 2 inches down, and one back corner all the way down. Could this be a algae of some sort or maybe a factory default. I would like for it to go away. Some input please

Not sure what it would be... Did it appear suddenly or slowly over time?

Sounds like the tank was treated with Greenex or something similiar but you said you havent added any chemicals so who knows....

Could that be a type of fungis, fungis grows in and under the silicone which would prevent you from scraping it off.

yep could be green cyano as well. Can it be scraped off and is it a bit slimy?

maybe a bit slimy but i cant scrap it off i dont believe it is under the silicon but it could be. what are my options here

After looking a bit closer the green is in behind the silicone and even where the silicone is squeezed on the exterior of the glass it is tinted green. I believe ive received a faulty fish tank. Im gonna call All-glass tomorrow and see what my options are the tank is pushing to months old and this looks like crap.

I'd say call All-Glass and talk with them, and talk with your dealer: this isn't right. It would be a pain to move everything, but a worse one to get down the line and find out it was toxic.

It could be a defect in the glass, especially if the tank was cut from the same sheet of glass to make the four vertical walls of the tank. And, possibly the cleaner that was used to prep the glass befor the glass is stuck together. It could be a chemical reaction between the prep cleaner and the silicone. Just some idea's / theories.
