Neon Orange?

I have a neon orange algae area i cannot figure out what it is in my 44g corner tank. ATM its overtaken by algae and cyano that i've been fighting for a cple months now, but all of a sudden this orange spot popped up.

Normally when algae changes color it is morphing. Wither it be based on what bioload it is consuming or even something that fell on it / absorbed.

Personally siphon it out as soon as you can. If it is dying it will spike up other items in the water column.\

Get your sheers out and wack away at it.

What have you been fighting it with? chem warfare? or CUC?

CUC And periods of darkness. Im guessing i just got a batch of bad "live rock" thats releasing phosphates, which of course are undetectable because their being consumed.
