just out of curiosity, has anyone thought of taking a DC8 apart to see how it is made, and then make a DIY article on it? From what I can tell, it is just a serial connection between the controller and the power strip, which im assuming have small relays in them to control on/off..... kinda like a chauvet power center.
YR is asking for a deposit in order to secure your item(s). Since this is a deal where a deposit is required and quantity counts, there needs to be a cutoff date. Please have your deposit on record no later than January 15th. Since credit costs money, John is willing to offer additional slight discount for cash.
Brian, this is an excellent idea. We should time this to coincide with the Neptune systems everyone will be getting from YR. I'll be ready to program to AC Jrs when we decide to do this DIY session. The other benefit will be laptops and aquanotes and serial to pc cable can be provided for the group to use. I love it!Originally posted by Brian Prestwood
I would like to put some sort of AC training session together, sort of like a DIY session only instead of building something we all share AC configuration tips.
