Nerite in saltwater?

I've gotten some rather conflicting information while searching so I figured I'd ask here. Is it possible to acclimate a freshwater nerite (black racer, tiger and zebra (Amber and lack not black and white)) snails to full 1.026 saltwater?

Thoughts?
