Networking and ACII

Is it possible to hook up the ACII to an 802.11b wireless network? I already have the network set up in my home, and was wondering if it is possible to use a wireless access point to connect the ACII to the network. Has anyone tried this before?
Thanks for your help!

I have it set at home with the wireless connection and could not be happier. With the tank being in the livingroom and no more space under the cabinet, having a computer (desktop or laptop) by the tank 24/7 was out of the question.

Installed the wireless and could not be happier. I dont have problems with dropped connection. I am running Aquanotes and the port redirector in W2K environment.

OK, another question. I have the ethernet wireless access point. How much will I have to spend to buy the piece which will convert the serial signal to something the 802.11g access point will understand?

If you have the wireless bridge or your computer is near a RJ45 jack, you can do this.

You will need the adapter to convert from serial to ethernet. The adapter runs $99.00

The adapter is not wireless. You hook up the Controller to the Adapter and then hook up a wireless bridge to the adapter.

The software needed to redirect the ports comes with the adapter. Not hard to install as long as you follow the directions carefully.

Yes, I had an extra bridge (B) that I was not using. It was not worth the extra money for me to spend on the wireless adapter when all it would be running is the AC software.

I rather save that money and use it for more frags... :D
