Never Been able to keep a Anemone

Ok guys been out of the hobby for a while, but before I got out I had a very successful SPS/LPS reef tank. But never could keep a RBTA to save my life. A month or two in they would just melt. I tried this twice and gave up. I recently got back into the hobby and set up a small 20g Long with the hopes of trying to keep a RBTA. I'll post my equipment list below please feel free to make any suggestions I really want to be successful with the next RBTA I get. I do currently have some amazing Extreme Blacker Ice Clowns in the tank, and it has been running for around two months. I don't plan to put a RBTA any time soon I just want to make sure I'm going in the right direction.

20L
150W 15,000k MH light
Aquamaxx HOB Protein Skimmer
750 gph Koralia
1-2 inch sand bed
15 pounds of LR

R.O. Water
Reef Crystals
.024 salinity

Running some GFO/Carbon to deal with some phosphates at the moment.

Also would anyone suggest dosing? I don't see a reason to but it's something that's crossed my mind. My parameters are in check right now, nitrates are around 10. But..... my p.h. always likes to be on the low side. Running a fresh air intake on my skimmer, hits 8.3 at the end of the day after a full lighting cycle.

Thanks, Mike

Mike, I think you will be able to this time.

I do not dose, because what little coral I have isn't not enough to exceed what's in my salt (Reef Crystals).

I run Carbon and GFO with some cheato in the sump. RBTA was doing great until he was ate up in the power head.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. I'm going to try to post some pictures with this response we will see if it works, I'm not much of a photographer. This was just a quick set up I did one day. I wish I would of drilled the tank, painted the back, and did a few other things different, but for the time being it satisfies my itch. I'm planning on doing a 90 gallonish cube this winter once work slows down. =) I wasn't planning on putting clowns in so soon, nor getting designer clowns but I have an amazing breeder Alpha Aquaculture just down the road from me and I couldn't resist. I really hope I'm successful this time, I've been dreaming on doing a dedicated tank for a long time.

Make sure the power head is covered before you get the anemone, a large bubble tip anemone will take up most of the space in your tank and will easily come into contact with your powerhead. Tank is off to a good start
