It's a 46BF with 2 175W pendant 15k hamiltons with no sump just a CPR BAK-PAK and a AquaC Remora and they don't skim any more I just change about 5g water a week and it seems to work out ok.

What is wrong with the Aqua C Remora? Have you tried to clean the pump and the injector chamber?

I got it used.. It's never worked well.. I cleaned the pump but I think they injector screw it messed up or something

about half a year.. But thats only a part of what I have had.. I have gave a ton away.

The injector is under the collection cup. You need to carefully unscrew that screw, without damaging it. Using a tiny pipe cleaner / brush, run it in and out of the injector. If you have a bright light source, you can see through the smoked acrylic to see what you are cleaning a little better. Replace the screw enough so that it stays, but not too far so that it falls inside. It is okay if it drips, because it is inside the skimmer and under the cup.

Once you have that working again and you are sure the Maxijet pump is clean and working correctly, it will just be a matter of setting the collection cup at the correct height.

And the screw on mine was messed up when I got it.. I got the thing off ebay and they gut didn't bother to post the screw was all screwed up.

So I went to clean it and try it again and the collection cup didn't want to come out so i wiggle it some and the side breaks and cuts my finger not long after that I have a AquaC Remora laying in many pieces on my front pouch. Not sure if these are just poorly made products or the guy on ebay sold me a lemon but I will stick with CPR I think.

Sounds like you got a bum deal. The collection cup doesn't fit that snugly, unless someone glued it in place. With the older models, a thumbscrew would hold it at the proper height, and with the newer ones a big black O-ring would keep it in place. But I've had several for the tanks I had running, and none were ever as you've described.
