looks cool so far :) cant wait to see some corals in there. what are you planning on doing as far as livestock/corals?

for the pH problem. whats it at? what salt are you using? do you have any open areas in the hood? not sure, but i dont think that nano cubes have any open tops on them which doesnt alow for proper gas exchange, which will lower pH. also, try to get a powerhead to point more towards the surface so that you have surface aggitation...that will also help w/gas exchange.

cool tank
keep us posted

Thanks, my ph is at 7.8 i used the proper 8.2 stuff and got my ph up to 8.3 but it rebounded back this morning im not sure what kind of coral i want yet propbably some softies, im using corallife salt

Gas exchange and salt mix. Like sir-dude said get some agitation on the surface. Try a different salt mix: with tropic marin all my elements are present water params stay stable. I do a 20-40% water change weekly. IO and Ocenic are good salts as well.

IO and reef crystals is good salt.

I use IO myself but live aquaria uses reef crystals (same company but reef crystals has more calcium) and their aquaculture facility is awesome.

I never had a PH problem on any of my tanks so can't help you there.

why is that? many people do w/no problems. It may scratch it (specially acrylic) but nothing besides that, unless you slam it down on the glass lol.
