BoomBoomClown
i have had a 50g tank up and running for abour 4-5 months very succesfully.
i have now bought a new 135g tank. this will also be a fowlr. i have read up in scott michaels book on reef fishes and have come up with a stock list which i really like with fish i really want. just wanted to know what you guys thought
maroon clownfish (from my 50g)
french angelfish
3-4 redcoat squirrelfish
blue tang
and later on a small clown triggerfish

thanks

Doesnt sound bad, only one i would worry about is the clown trigger. I was told they can be nasty and bite when cleaning the tank..

I think the French angel will get too big for your tank, they get at least 18 inches. I would pick an angel that does not exceed 8-12 inches. Clown triggers are known to eventually decimate tanks. Once they get some size on them, they become very territorial. They also get too big for your tank. Consider a blue throat trigger, or maybe a picasso. A niger trigger, while relatively mellow, also gets too big.

The squirrelfish may be too passive for the other tankmates.
