Hey RCMike I need your help my man.

I have 2 big overflows and basically no clue how I ma going to plumb these puppies up. I will PM you here before too long, but I am sitting here scratchin my head going, okay two bulkheads in each overflow. *** is the extra one for? A return line? I am gonna be running a big Iwaki return line, but I gotta hook up a 220v in the area first. Got one delay, the electrician ran lines right behind the tank. Hello the door goes here!!!

Anyway its not going in the wall until next week. Gotta let those sheet rock guys do their thing first.

Hi Kevin,

Yeah, I would say it is probably for the return line. I haven't seen the glass cages overflows but I would guess that is what it is for. I'd love to see that thing some time, I really want to put a tank in the wall in my basement. That is probably a few years down the road though. If you need any help let me know.

If you are thinking one return pump, I would put an oversized "Y" fitting on the outlet side with gate valves for flow balance control, and send them to the return inputs. JMTCW.

Heck yeah buddy! I think I am gonna do exactly that, I got a return pump off ebay, and I was going to split them. Here in about 3 weeks I am gong to start plumbing and trying to figure out everything. Guess I better wait until I close on the house first. :lol:
