We just picked up a 200 gallon marineland deep dimension. This will be our first tank, and we're taking it really slow. I'm still piecing out all the invidual items we need to purchase.

What would you recommend for a sump/fuge?

I'd like to be able to fit everything under the factory Marineland cabinent.

Thanks!

the deminsions of the tank are 4 feet by right? if that is the case i woud go with a tank that is 36 inches by 18 inches. i think thats like a 60 or 65 gallon. i dont know if it will be too tall though. make sure that when the sump is under the stand you would still be able to get your hands in it to work on it and be able to remobe your protien skimmer.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Tank size is 48x36x36.
Cabinent size is smaller though.
Doorway to get stuff underneath is only: 23h x 17.25w

So by my calculations with a 200 gallon tank I need a:
20 gallon fuge
66 gallon sump

I found this diagram in another thread here on the site and like the concept so was considering making my own. Anyone have any idea what size tank would work well for this and still meed the recommendations listed above?

Or would I be ahead to configuring a seperate fuge & sump?
