Picking up new tank

This is back of tank, double mega flows and my youngest daughter! Will post more pics as progress continues.:bounce3:

New 210

Thanks...can't wait to get it up and going. I have to move my 75 and
build matching stands first.:bounce3:

You aren't very far from my house. If you need help moving it in the house let me know. Is it going where the 75 gallon is located?

finished it but I think I will put one more coat on it

Sorry it has taken so long my fellow reefers, but I was finally able to make some progress on the tank. I built the stand, but it still needs trim and I still have to build the canopy. The light I have on it is from my 75 so it is not sufficient, but it is getting the job done while I save enough money for the one I need.

I was able to get the tank on the stand with the help of 05grandprix. After that I was so excited (or as my wife would say, I have no patience!) to have it on the stand and in the house that I went and bought sand! Several days later, I now have live rock, corals and the fish transfered over from the 75.

Nice build!

In post 8 you show the overflows glued together. In my (humble) experience I eventually need to take mine apart for cleaning or investigation. Since this is on the "wet" side and not under pressure like the returns a "leak" is the slow draining of the overflow box when the pump is off (like individual drips).

In a similar but smaller tank I also switched over to a Herbe with an overflow and a siphon for noise and greatly increased flow.

I am not advocating taking anything apart right now, but you might want to set aside some spare parts. Murphy's law and all, if you have spare on hand you might never have the problems I experienced...

that's going to be a great looking tank when fully mature.
Me too had a leak in thePVC connector when I had a 65, all over the carpet
I guess saltwater always wins in the end
That's why I have a selfcontained Nano Cube now
