New 29 Biocube Setup with New Kessil A160

Like the title says, I've been slowly putting this bad boy together and literally just put on the new Kessil A160. Impressions so far is that the shimmer is insane like all other reviews say. Below are some teaser pictures. I will post more later.







**Please don't say anything about the Blue Hippo. I'm holding onto him for my best friend as his new tank is still cycling. Until then I offered to hold onto him for a few weeks,

Initial thoughts after an hour of having the light on....ALL corals seem to be fully open and extended. The issue part of my blastos are fully open and flowing with the current. Zoanthids are all fully open and touching one another like a little flower garden. My wellso is also open and happy.

I'm going to have to buy the Kessil Controller to adjust everything.

Pictures go from a whiteish to blueish color as the pics progress. Intensity was raised also.

Hey, now that you've had the tank up for a while, can you provide any insight into the intensity you run at? I've got a 29BC as well with the A160 and I've had some issues trying to dial in the intensity. Right now I have it running at a peak of 65%. I have a fast sunrise to 55%, then for 6 hours it ramps up to 65% and back to 55% before begining the sunset. Total hours on are 12.

Great looking tank, I have a 14g and I'm currently looking for a 29g to upgrade or have them both. I have a blue tang also in mine and a lot of people in this forum gave me a hard time because I have it in there, but anyways keep it looking great my friend!!
