new 30 gallon, any tips?

I just added the live rock a couple days ago, with 10 pounds from my LFS, and 40 of Marshall Islands LR from premium Aquatics. BTW, they Handled my order with expert care! Hanging Pendant includes 250 Watt 10k Metal Halide with two 36 watt PC'S. I have an aqua C remora pro with a working rio 1700 that I tried to conceal. aquaclear with tons of Rubble rock in the back, along with phos-ban and chemi-pure. I am going to try to conceal the heater a little better, but it just sitting there until I can find a good spot. and I hope the picture works

I can't wait to add more, but I'm just letting it go through it's cycle. do you guys think that I can healthily keep a crocea clam if I replaced the 250 watt 10k with a 150 watt 14k phoenix?
