Well, today we picked up the new (to me) 300 gallon tank and 180 gallon sump with an Orca Skimmer. The four folks who spent 12 hours helping me pick it up and place it in my basement were true angels and I can't say enough good things about Ken, Tim, Leland, and Kerrie. We left my house at 7:30 in the morning and they left here at 9:30. My knees hurt to bend and I didn't do much they carried the bulk of he work. Really great people.

I am now on hold until I recieve the Rockford Fragfest Raffle Prize from CaribSea. http://www.midwestfragfest.com/raffle.html. Any one there knows I practically did cartwheels when won the prize widh sas listed as all the substrate, refugida,CA Reactor Meida and Additives need to set up a 500 gallon tank. Since I had just purchases a 300 gallon tank with a 180 sump I literally put hundreds of tickets hoping to with. My heart took a jump when my ticket was called. Now the tank and sump are in place. I will post photos later along with the CarbSea prize when they delivery it . I don't think I have been this excited since Christmas when I was 6 years old..More to come.

I haven't posted photos of the display tank yet because it is so crammed close to the tanks I am tanking down that i can't get a good shot. Currently I have a 75, 120, 180 and 300 in the space that originally only had a 75, 120 and 150.....As I transfer the inhabitants of the 75 and 120 into the main tank I will post a photo of the display. One of the things I am holding off for is I have not heard from CaribSea on when the Substate, water and chemicals I won at the MidWest Fragfest in Rockford will arrive. When it does I will post a photo of the pallets.

Found a loading dock where I can have the CaribSea prize delivered. Photos to follow. How excited am I .....It's like Christmas when I was 6 years old.

I got at phone call from Jud the representative from CaribSea and the truck with my raffle prize is on its way to Bloomington. The kind folks and great friends in Administrative Services are allowing me to have the prize delivered to one of State Farm's loading docks.......so christmas is coming early. I will post a photo of the prize when it arrives.

This is my old sump it was a three chamber wet dry I use it as a refugium and sump.
