I love those dimensions, we are looking at similar dimensions in a more modest size for our next tank and I love the front-back depth

I think this is going to be a bare bottom. Maybe a sprinkle of sand. It would cost me a fortune in sand.I wish they still sold that play sand.

How tall is the stand?

Stand is 35 3/4.

Getting close, Do you think I should paint the top of the stand white or black? I may be going with very little sand. And yes, Ive made a mess of my carpet. I like air conditioning.

Painted mine white but love my acrylic bottom being black. Nice hight. When Mike built my stand we shoot for 40" high happy I did that as my new tank is only 24 tall. But what's been a blessing is being able to get to the back plumbing with no issues at 36inch. 48 is deep.

Break time, I dread the moving of the 265. could take a couple months. I need to buy some acrylic and build my sump.
