New 6100 and 6000 help please

Hi- I just purchased a 6100 and a 6000 with the magnets. I have a 120Gallon that is 60 inches long

The above link will take you to a pic of the setup 2 weeks after it was set up. I have one (6100) where the mag float is pointing straight across and 1 (6000) on the other side of the tank to the left of the overflow pointing diagnal towards the opposite side of the tank near the other tunze. The sand has not kicked up with this postioning. I'm also planning on connecting them to my reefkeeper 2 and was wondering if that was ok

everything i've read says the streams must have at least one hour between on and off. I know reefkeeper are programmable, so I must have that at least.

On the electronic pumps you don't need to worry so much about the hour minimum but I would give at least a 15 minute minimum and you do lose a lot of the control features this way since the reefkeeper won't allow you to set speeds or pulse rates.

So you would recommend buying a 7095 controller for these pumps?

Yes, it is the only way to use all the features.
