New 75G Build

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and new to the hobby. I have had a 20G Long with only a few fish for about 8 months now and am really interested in putting together a new 75G build. Hoping to get some guidance on what I'll need for the tank etc.

I plan on building a custom stand soon but until then I'd like to start pulling together the equipment I will need to set it up.

The first question I have is can I use my existing 20G tank as the sump?

Also, can anyone recommend good equipment for the new tank? I'm not exactly sure what I need but I want to get a good list going so I can start to purchase the parts.

I can help you out but i bet you have had a lot happen in the month since you posted here! where you at any updates? then i can give advise relevant you where your at.

The only thing to watch out for would be water volume from the 75 in a power outtage. That 20 may overflow. I would recommend a 29H or at least a 20H tank.
