New 80 Gallon Deep Blue Set Up

Looks Great Mike. Sam was talking about the 80 when we came over and picked up the 150 at her house a few weeks back. She was very excited about it and I can see why. Really like that footprint.

Very nice job! Love the Lyretails.

Thanks man! It's coming along real nicely it's almost like I'm setting a new tank up myself haha! How's the 150? Is it set up?

That's the beauty of helping someone else set up a tank. Almost like you get to do some of the fun stuff without adding to the ole maintenance tab. Of course, Sam seemed clever enough to be able to get some algae scraping outta you. Prolly a H2O change or two as well! ;-)
Haven't got the 150 wet yet. It's such a nice tank with the rounded corners we decided to spruce it up a bit. So I worked on that a bit last week. Buffed it up real nice. Painted the stand too, so as to match the 120 across the room. Not the level of work I see some of you guys putting in (Crazy Eyes, ListentoBob, Roger, etc), but flat black is easy to do. ;-) She is sitting in the living room now awaiting the next move. Looks great though. Can't wait. Scored some AI Vegas (sp?) that we may consider using on it, as well as a monster old Turboflotor 5000 Recirc Skimmer. Although we have 4 Radions running on our other systems and love them, so we may just trade the Vegas. Not sure yet. If you have other goodies, let me know. Always looking. and if I can sell some of the tanks in the garage (180, 54, 46, 38....seeing the pattern?) I may even have some room. A pleasure dealing with you and Sam. Keep us updated on the 80. That's a great tank.
Cheers!

The tank is soon going fish only so the corals will be up for sale soon.
