I sold my gelding before we moved up here. So I own none. This mare is on a 30 day trial, so soon it will be 1. Unless she has some major flaws.
Since we are on post I have to board her. Board is really reasonable up here.
If I had my way I would have a whole barn full of them! It is so funny to hear my 3 year old daughter try to explain to me how we have room in the garage! She is very serious about it. If my husband would let me I probably would put her in the garage!

Congrats Jamie!! She's beautiful... you weren't kidding when you said you might be getting another one soon. So is she green or rideable? Always my first question w/ Thoroughbreds after the last one I had...
Names... hmm, Bella, Fable, Fawnee or maybe she's got a personality trait that will help out.
Razzmatazz - I've got a few frags I could trade for a horse... shoot I'd give up my whole reef for a horse.

The only Stateline I'm aware of is the one Gary mentioned at Petsmart in Brockport but I think Countrymax might have some stuff too?? Not sure... years ago when I bought my brushes and everything I did it at the Stateline in New Hampshire so I haven't really shopped for that stuff around here yet.

Thanks for all the well wishes. She has arrived and is settling in nicely. I turned her out in the arena and she just dropped her head and ate some grass ignoring the horses knickering at her.
She is green broke, has had a little reschooling. She is super calm and sweet. Not your typical TB.
Razz...I will still trade some frags for a horse...I wouldn't mind another one!!! I, like Mel would trade my whole reef for a horse. I am surprised my husband is letting me do both!!!
I have been to State Line Tack in Mississippi several times. I just found out there is one in Brockport yesterday. I will be there ASAP!!!!!! More reasons to head to Rochester.
I came home for a little while to give her a break. I am going to head back out to the barn as soon as Brian gets home.

What's "green broke" mean?
I used to ride as a teenager but at a riding stable. They "let" me volunteer one summer to clean stalls and stuff for free riding lessons. Horses were show horses. Rode english and western and when no one was looking, bareback. Now I only get to ride occassionally on vacation for short trail rides where you couldn't get the horse above a fast walk if you wanted to.
