Beautiful fish! I've been thinking about getting a pair of these for quite some time, not really sure why I haven't. I think your pics may convince me to actually do it now!

is this a fish only tank? what else is in there with him? i like triggers a lot and really want to get a rectangle trigger for my reef.

Thanks. He is a beautiful fish. Ten times better in person trust me. He is out and about a lot already they are know for hidding for a little to get use to the tank. I think a pair would be awesome. But i love the one i have.

Thanks Blownsvt, Right know this is a fish only tank with a few mushrooms in it. But thats it. In the future i want to make my tank a reef. But that is going to be a little later and he is housed with a Salfin Tang, Kole Tang, Sixline Wrasse and Tomamto Clown. The rectangle trigger are very nice to. This is my first trigger and i love him.

cool, i could be wrong but i thought most of the issues with triggers is their diet and tendancy to eat thing that we like to use as tank cleaners. I imagine you have snails and things like that in your tank right? let us know how he does with them.

Yes Triggers are known for that. But i havent seen him bother anything just said (knock on wood). Hopefully he doesnt get into that. I think its a hit or miss with them. It didnt seem to bother him when two snails decided to go where he mad his own little home under a rock. So right know it doesnt look like he cares to much about them.
