I like all Euphyllia's and I now have one I was looking for is my new gold hammer. I really do wish that the color would come out right in my pictures. I will be getting more corals in the upcoming weeks as well as some new fish (I hope) as long as my Cherub Angel behaves himself, if not he will find a new home rather quickly!!!!
I got my fish and all doing well accept the Royal Gramma. Hopefully the little guy pulls through, haven't seen him today and today is day 3.
Anyway here is a new FTS of my 40b with most of my corals in the sand still. I'm going to pick up a few more today most will be SPS. Anyway looking for suggestions on where to place things.
Didn't think about it before I filled the tank and was swapping out of my other tank. After we filled it said OOPS forgot to paint the back. So I'm waiting for coralline to finish covering it
I can get a plastic corrugated sign and paint it black and slide it in. Just haven't gotten around to it.
Gold tip torch to match my gold tip hammer
Elegance
several different Acans
a few other brain coral frags
and a few SPS that I got last week but haven't posted the pictures yet. My Christmas is going to be today and through the weekend. Oh and next week my replacement Royal Gramma is being shipped on Wednesday as the one I got didn't make it two days. He was tiny and looked very starved to me. This is from Live Aquaria. Since they're paying the shipping I might find something else to add
This morning I've got to move rocks around and get rid of my Kenya Tree as it's become HUGE and is attached in the rock that I placed it in and it's blocking some prime real estate that I need for a lot of my Euphyllia.
Not fully open but I wanted to post these two pictures anyway
Which way do you think I should place this Elegance? Below are how it is now. I'm thinking of turning it 90 degrees so it's parallel with the front glass to get more of a full view. What do you think? Oh and it's not all the way open yet. This thing is HUGE
I think I'm going to make the room in the morning and see. My female maroon clown is fanning sand all around it because she doesn't like it that close to "her" anemone :hammer: I call her Queen B, without the Queen
Still not open all the way. I'm trying to decide if I need to increase my lights or not. In this picture the female maroon is 3" and you're seeing the width of the Elegance. I guess I'm going to try more light and see what happens. This thing is going to be HUGE
