Well, in the end I backed out of the position I was offered in Japan...... so I decided to get some new fish to ease the pain

The Sohal I picked up at YR. Its been in my sump with my Purple Tang for week acclimating. Then yesterday I came across a nice Emp at AquaLife. It was eating and aggressive, so I jumped on it

I added the Emp to the display yesterday, and moved the two tangs up last night after he was all settled in.

The are all getting along very well, surprisingly. The PT is a little ticked about his new neighbors, but because he was in the sump for so long, he hasn't been as bad as I feared.

So how many of us have actually seen a cleaner cleaning a cleaner. Cool pic. What has your experience been with the cleaner wrasse? I, like most, have never been able to keep one long term?

The cleaners and Wrasse have all been in my system for over a year. They spent a lot of time cleaning the large BF angel I owned.

Now the wrasse seems to spend a lot of time with my purple tang, but he has already started spending time with the new additions.

The cleaner shrimp groomed the new Emp and Sohal shortly after I put them in. But after watching them last night, the fish did not seem to want any attention from them.

I have never seem them cleaning each other though :lol:

Wish i knew you were going to be there i would have cruised over there to say hi.

I live like 2 minutes from there.

Fish look great! I do love Aqualife for there fish. They still need some guidance on ordering corals.

Nice additions Jim... Have you seen your wrasse eat any prepared foods? I was at pet club buying some dog food and they had three of them for like 5 dollars. I figure with all these tangs i recently introduce and with the wrasse being alone at pet club it had a better chance in my tank. I just put it in an hour ago and it already cleaned my yellow n purple tang, my idol and emp.

That sohal is a beauty when i picked up my pt from your reef they had one in the frag tank next to the big tank in the back. It kept splashing every time i walked by like hey you got a nice size home for me. I couldn't do it though. If i already didn't have 4 tangs with another coming end of next week i probably would of got it. Hope it remains tame for you.

Yeah, I hope it remains tame and behaved as well The one in the larger display/frag tank was reeeeaal nice!! Too big for my tank though. I chose the smaller one so that I have some time before I upgrade tank size.

Yeah, my cleaner eats everything I put it. Pellets, PE mysis, cyclopeze, etc...

I'm not that good at photography This was the only good one I could get. Unfortunately most of my fish decided not come out for the camera.

Nice setup, fish are smaller then i thought. Looks different without the buleface if and when you upgrade any chance you be able to get him back..??
