Hi all

I just got this light and it seems amazing. looking for some feedback on the settings. I have it over a 12" cube. I would like to keep some SPS and some softies. Does anyone have a suggested setting for each color? Obviously love the blues but not sure where should start? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Dale

I'm assuming your 12" cube is also 12" deep? Also, how high above the water is the light mounted? They are pretty powerful lights (Especially blue/white channels), so I'd start low (Maybe 30-40% overall) and slowly work from there depending how everything responds. The manual mode in the web interface should show you how much power of the fixture you are using when setting the channels.

He is absolutely right!

This light if not brought up slowly will burn every coral in your tank. I started mine at 40 and now have it at 25. 12" deep and 10" over water. Color starting to come back. I've used sols for years, but they have nothing on this little power plant. Great light, but go slow....

your first post is to help others. that's awesome of you lol....

Thanks for the feedback! It is a 12" cube so 12" deep and its 7" over the water. I'm going to dial it back a bit. 35% ea for violet, royal, and blue. Then 5-10% for everything else?

I'd probably do white a little higher, unless you want it really blue. You can run the UV the same as the blues and violet. Some people get worried about turning that channel up, but it's only 400nm, so it's barely considered UV to begin with.
