hey guys, i got a new anemone in the mail on saturday morning. he looks good (bulbs look healthy etc.) he found a spot on the sandbed between two rocks and hasnt moved yet...guess it's happy there so far.

i tried to feed with a turkey blaster and it seemed that some shrimp stuck to the tenticals yet he never collapsed or pushed towards its mouth.

any input on this?

You shouldn't be feeding it already. Let it settle in . I would leave it till next weekend.

Considering he has had it a week......It should be fed.

A week is not that long to go without feeding. When I first introduced my RBTA I did not feed it for a month. They do not have to be fed if they are getting the required lighting and water quality that they need...

I was thinking he got it yesterday. My bad. Not eating after a week doesn' t really worry me. Give it time.
