New anemone owner and have a few questions.

just got this anemone yesterday and was wondering what everyone feeds them ?

1)You have a Sebae anemone.(H.crispa).They lik eto be at the rock /sand interface.Looks like hes in the rocks.Just a little FYI.

2)I feed mysis shrimp.

thank you very much, I came home from class yesterday and mom said she picked an anemone up for me and she had no idea what kind it was.

sorry about the picture quality they are cell phone pics and the outside glass on my tank is dirty.

I agree that it is an H. Crispa, however, it appears that it has a yellow tint to it. I would say that 99.9% of yellow Crispas are dyed, and about that same percentage actually survive.

I was about as clear as mud, sorry.

About 99% of the dyed yellow H. Crispas do NOT recover and die.

That doesn't mean to give up, but just wanted you to be aware for now and for any future purchases --- stay away from yellow and white ones.
