New Anemone Tank

It's got bends in them like an evergreen at the ocean. Got one with the same issue. It's scar tissue from either catching on stuff or clowns biting them.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, nice colors on that one!

beautiful colors by the way! Really like those orange/green type BTA's. There's an amazing one for sale out by me but my tank isn't ready for one. (And I'm not sure I'm ready either, lol)

Wow, just read through all three of your build threads. Very impressed with how you picked yourself up after the disaster of the 75g and put together two such good looking tanks. This thread has persuaded me I need to add an anemone or two to my next tank! Thanks for sharing!

Currently I'm planning a 40"x22"x20" acrylic tank, possibly ordered through Envision. I was planning to focus mostly on a combination of LPS, zoas and shrooms, but was certainly contemplating a BTA, possibly separated on an island from the main aquascape. I'll be setting up once I've moved (moving to Japan in 2 weeks). Ordering from Envision because he can provide exactly what I want and I can deal with him in English.

Trouble is, when a tank is so long in the planning, you tend to change your mind about 5 times a month. This one's been 4 years in the planning after I took down my last one, but with only 2 months to go before I set up/start ordering, I'm starting to get tempted by SPS again.

In truth, I'll most likely end up with a little bit of everything!

I know exactly what you mean about changing your mind every time you see something new. It's so hard. I wish I had a bit more height :)

ok, some good news. Although my SPS is toast, my anemones have rebounded after a crazy amount of carbon+water changes. I'll post a quick video of the yellow bubble tip anemone.

Did you build this yourself? Flame polish edges? Do you think the MP40 is to much for it? im planning a similar tank

I did not build it myself (someone local did).

yes, flame polished edged A MUST!!

mp40 would be great if there was no sand. Now I can't really turn it up, and the acrylic is way too think for mp10s.... think about that when planning!!
