i have a 40 tall its new and i put two anemones in it and i dont know what kind they are or what they eat i just dont know if there is enough floating around for them so is there anything i could put in for them
Well you made a couple mistakes. How new is you tank? Most people recommend at least 6 months before adding an anemone to the tank. I recommend 9-12 months just so the water params and all the stuff you can't test for can stabilize. But it can still work, for instance I got my first anemone two weeks after I set up my tank and I've had it for a year and a half.
Another mistake- You didn't know what your buying. I don't know why people do this but why would you buy something that you know nothing about?
Also what type of lighting do you have? And how tall is your tank?
Please post some pictures for identification or at least a very detailed description of each one. Please include what color they are.
Yeah you need to cycle your water and do many tests before putting anything in it. I was just like you before. I was too excited and put in alot of new fish and they didn't live for a week. This hobby is very expensive in the long run.
