New Angler!!!! What temp should I keep him at?

I just ordered a 1.5" Red Angler and it should be coming in this weekend. He will be going into a 30 gallon cube. What temp should I keep the tank at? Everything I've found says 74-80 degrees. Thinking that they come from deeper waters, I'm thinking the lower the temp, the better? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! TIA

72-78 from what LA says. The key is to keep the temp as stable as you can.
