Came home from work to find this in the empty 180 I've been working on.

I guess next time I hear weird noises and my wife asks "what was that" in the middle of the night I will go look.

Got him out and took him to the park last night. Caught him by the tail. Couldn't get the video up here but it is on my instagram.

Very cute! Glad you didn't get bit, their teeth are razor sharp and they don't let go easily once they bite down.

I was told by animal control to wear welding gloves. If it was old enough it may play dead when I poke it.... this one was not old enough. They told me to try to get its tail out and grab him by the end because they can't move a whole lot when held by the tail. Perfect advice.

The bad part about this is that it wasn't an adult and Animal Control said I should get some traps and find the rest of the family.

Set some cage traps for the rest of the opossum family. Getting some quick-Crete to patch the hole under the front porch they may be getting in. The wife is looking at Australian Shepherds as a more permanent wildlife deterrent.

Aussie poo's don't shed.
