New Aquapod 24g (Ames)

I've been away from the aquarium scene for a long time but i purchased an aquapod for my college apartment up in Ames. It's true you can never really get out once you're hooked :) It left St. Paul yesterday so I'm crossing my fingers it will show up tomorrow and I can start the cycling process. I'll post up some pictures once it shows up and everything else. I plan on replacing the stock pump and filter balls ASAP and for livestock I'm planning on a striped possum wrasse and a maroon clown. On a side note are there any other members in Ames that know where I could pick up some salt, sand, or LR. I went into The Ark and pretty much walked out after seeing the condition of their SW tanks. I used to be close to Iowa Pet Foods & Aquatics in Des Moines but now I'm kinda lost. Any help would be awesome!

If you are in a big hurry to get salt and substrate instead of buying online I would go to Adam's Aquatics. He has been selling the buckets of RC for $50 a pop which is not much more after buying online after shipping.

The Live Sand is cheapest at Petco out in West Des Moines.

As far as live rock, try and get in here from other members. If you go to Iowa Pet Foods you will probably get an aptasia farm. Adam's is a little over priced, and they are to only 2 stores in town that sell it from what I know.

Came this afternoon! I'm looking forward to logging my process! Pics
