but mine historically has shy'd away from the pricier tanks until lately to ensure she could keep them alive. moving from our tall nano to the 40g has created a lot of room for more little salty friends lol

My wife will occasionally glance at my tank...that's about it. I did set up a 58 for her years ago because she liked Rock Flower Anemones but, she quickly lost interest.

between the ducks, chickens, seahorses, dogs, and display tank, I'm just grateful my wife feeds the horses once a week, grabs the eggs a few times a week, and joins me on saturday fish store dates so I can more easily justify my next coral since she likes it too lol

Anyone know, if I cut the basels on this clam is the foot also stuck that that needs to be released aswel?

I’ve never been brave enough to cut byssal threads on a clam. If I remember, you’re supposed to cut as far from the shell as possible and make an extremely clean cut with a razor blade.

Got my algae scraper down the side of the clam with a little pressure against it, I keep moving it a few mm every hour and the scrapers going further in

"high end" for me was our new pagoda cup at $90. But the issue is after a few weeks with our new additions, I still want to add MORE. :sad:
