I got this Ric from a friend today, and I have never seen another like it before. Has anyone ever seen a bright yellow ric like this?

Idk it seems pretty rare. It's purely yellow with a few greenish nodules and a bright pink mouth. I love it. <3

Wow!!! Love it! I love rics.. Never seen one like that.. I have some orange and pinks those that are simalar

To me the color doesn't seem healthy... Too pale on the skirt hopefully it'll plump and stay that color @ the same time new ric in the collection is always good

Nice ricordea, my lfs has some yellow ones, but not as bright as yours and they don't have the greenish nodules or the bright pink mouth that you describe. Congrats

Love the yellow color. I have a small green one with a pink mouth that just doesn't seem to grow at all. Anyone know if these are slow growers, and how big they can get.

oh awesome! I haven't seen many with pink mouths like that. I am thinking of selling it but it's going to be hard to part with I still haven't decided lol.

How long have you had yours? Mine hasn't grown one bit. Could be the lighting though. I am getting a new light tomorrow. It's just some little LED from ebay, but I hope it works.

If you're thinking of how you can come up with a price tag for the incredibly rare coral you happen to have made a thread for, Aquatraders and a few other sponsors here sell these for around $20.

This strikes me as a bit rude... I was just wondering if anyone had seen anything like this before and happened to mention possibly selling it =\

I would open another thread if I was seriously looking to sell it. It is tiny anyway I'm not sure anyone would be interested in it.

For now it will grow in my tank until I need books for next semester or something.

Your thread comes across as a hyping thread. His response was just to bring you down to the reality of what it is actually worth.

Um yeah nope no hype here I don't really care about money lol I'm a poor college student.

If you read his original post before he edited it he came across as a complete..... It was sent to my email.

I don't want to have conflict I JUST want to know if anyone has seen a ric like this. I haven't...

Can anyone post a pic?

I don't have pics, but for several years I had bright blue ones that had bright green spots mixed in and had a bright red/pink mouth. Not yellow, but an extreme mix of colors. When I transferred tanks they melted. I paid somewhere in the $5-10 range for it and I bought it from a retailer.

Thats really too bad that they melted. Our LFS here sells rics for 20-30 unless its something really rare.

I think this may be the only yellow thing I have now that I think about it. blue is another thing I'm looking for in my aquascape.
