New Battery Backup

Just got me one of these, but the instructions are quite brief, so I have a couple of questions. First, the power supply has a red light on it, I assume this will change to green once the battery is fully charged? I noted the light glowed green before I plugged it into the AC. Second, with a loss of power, will the pump still maintain its normal program, or does the switch to battery power automatically put the pump into a lower power state so it will last longer on the battery? Thanks!

Ca1ore,

The light on your power supply will switch to green once the battery is fully charged. Also, in the event of a power loss your VorTech pumps will go into Battery Backup mode. Battery Backup mode means they will run at a low constant speed to conserve battery life.

High jacking this thread. I have an Apex controller and want to know the best way to add the 2 battery back ups i have into the system for my MP40's and MP 10's?
