new beta pump?

What can you tell me about the new beta test pump
that fits a CS8-3???

#1 is it stronger and rated higher then the sedra 9000 for example???? and...if so...how much higher? What issss the
rating of gallons per hour?

#2 CS8-3 using the new pump would produce 33% better
then a CS8-3 using a Sedra 9000???? is that correct?


Anything else you can tell me?
I am hearing that the pump does not have a needlewheel to
match up nicely????? I am hearing so much crap that I am
trying to sift through to the truth.... Answers to above would
help me.

Hi Tim,

I have only been using the SP5's for a few weeks now on the RC1000 I have setup. I can personally tell you that the amount of water/air the thing flows is pretty darn impressive! I have not seen the air meter on it yet in person, but it is very comparable to what some of the big Eheim's pull.

What was the rating on the 9000 do you know?

The new pump is 4100 litres per hour right?

Hi Tim.... I dont have the ratings available for the 9000, and unfortunately EuroReef is going to be shut down until Jan 3rd. As soon as they are back in I will get those numbers for you.
