New black ocellaris

I bought a pair (misbars) a couple of months ago...lost one, and didn't ever replace. Today I brought home a new black ocellaris. It is almost 3x the size of the original. Any chance that the original little guy hasn't sexed yet? I'd like for them to pair up. So far they are cool with each other.

Changing from male > female can apparently happen in as little as a month. Still, I guess if it was a juvi to start with it might have taken longer.

Risky, but possible. Keep a hang on the side breeders net handy in case you need to separate them in a hurry.

They seem to be getting along OK....they sleep together and don't really do a lot of bickering. The little one (original) is submissive and there really hasn't been any problem. A little fin nipping and so forth at first, but for now, everything is everything. :love1:
